In 2024 I completed a 5-year SSHRC Insight Grant-funded project, "Intersections of Animality." Four edited volumes were published as part of this grant project: Disability and Animality: Crip Perspectives in Critical Animal Studies (Routledge 2020), co-edited with Stephanie Jenkins and Kelly Struthers Montford; Colonialism and Animality: Anti-Colonial Perspectives in Critical Animal Studies (Routledge 2020), co-edited with Kelly Struthers Montford; Building Abolition: Decarceration and Social Justice (Routledge 2021), co-edited with Kelly Struthers Montford and including a section on multi-species carceralities for which we each co-authored chapters; and The Routledge Companion to Gender and Animals (Routledge 2024).
